[New Video] “We Got Em Like” - Neelam Feat. Da-Neak & Goalden Child

Many years ago in the movie, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Spock laid down one of the coldest lines in movie history. Before he sacrificed himself to save the Starship Enterprise, he said: “the needs of the MANY outweigh the needs of the FEW.” How does a Star Trek line relate to all of this? For decades, the world has thrived off of the inventions of the P.O.C and other indigenous groups (the MANY) while (the FEW) have continued to downplay, even erase, their contributions to society. Although we are not on the Enterprise, we are in fact heading toward destruction. In hopes of waking the masses up from the hypnosis of the mainstream record labels, Los Angeles based emcee, Neelam, offers her new record as a new battle cry. Accompanied by the Houston Vanguard Drill Team, De-Neak & Goalden Child, Neelam is willing to take the stand to remind new/seasoned fans of who they are. For those who are a fan of music with deep lyrical substance, this video comes highly recommended. Take a moment to enjoy Neelam’s new video, “We Got Em Like” above. Also stream her new EP, “Anomalous”.
